Charlotte and Gary, a Timeless Love Story

Picture you and me
Starting a life together, we could be
We'll take this vow to love one another
Make this thing a reality

Charlotte and Gary are a couple to be envied. We were incredibly honored to be included in their big day this past June, not only as part of their bridal party, but also as their trusted Timeless décor and bouquet vendor.

Charlotte was a beautiful and simple bride that shared with us her few desires she envisioned for her wedding day, but then entrusted us to let our creativity take the lead. With a vision of purple and silver hues, we fell in love with the elegance of shimmering wine bottles, and stunning satin florals pulling together the romantic feel for their classic summer wedding. Not to leave any small detail without, we created a seamless flow between the brides bouquet, the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnieres, and even a touching photographer of the bride’s late grandfather.

Upon entering the reception hall, guests were greeted with tables adorned with glittered wine bottles in purple and silver tones. Nestled away from the guests, sat the intimate sweetheart table with a lush potted arrangement of green and purple succulents – another timeless keepsake for the couple to take home with them for years to come.

Charlotte and Gary share such a sweet love story; one that actually began with a mutual dislike for each other in fact. Starting off as coworkers in Fall of 2011, Charlotte and Gary eventually began to warm up to each other leading to their first date on June 21st 2012. Fast forward 5 years (nearly to the day) and Charlotte found herself saying yes to the man of her dreams during a romantic dinner at “The Top of the Hub” restaurant in Boston. Knowing that they wanted to enjoy their season of engagement, the couple decided to set their wedding date on June 21st 2019 – 2 years later, turning their meaningful “dating anniversary” into the anniversary of a lifelong commitment to each other.

While planning their wedding, it was very clear to the couple that their ceremony honor both each other and their love story. The chose some wonderful readings, shared tearful vows, and even took time to include a “Love Lock ceremony” all witnessed by their dearest friends and family in a stunning stain glassed church in Clinton. To make their ceremony even more special, was their officiant – the bride’s mother. We have never witnessed anything more dear.

Needless to say, hearing “I now pronounce you husband and wife. Gary you may kiss your bride” was certainly the highlight of their wedding day. A close second? Their first dance. The bride and groom shared an intimate moment on the dance floor, swaying slowly to “Gotta Be” by Jagged Edge. As one song ended, though, another was right on its heels, as the couple continued their dance to “This I Promise You” by Ronan Keating, a song the bride dedicated to her groom. Could they be any sweeter?

Gary and Charlotte are the epitome of small town romance. Gary describes his stunning bride as a smart, beautiful and caring woman, while Charlotte loves that her husband is a determined, dependable and loving man.

The only thing they enjoy more than spending time at home with their two cats, Hooper and Reese, are annual trips to Fenway. When they are not able to catch the games live or on TV, the couple find joy in catching up on reruns of an American favorite – The Big Bang Theory.

At the end of the day, Gary and Charlotte know they can always depend on each other. When asked what their favorite feature is about each other, it couldn’t have been easier for them to answer.

Charlotte shared that she loves she can always count on her husband to be there for her, pick her up, or just simply lend an understanding ear. Gary is mesmerized and always at home in his bride’s touching smile.

We know as wedding vendors, we shouldn’t pick a “favorite wedding,” but honestly, how could you not fall in love with a intimate love story such as theirs? We will always share fond memories of that charming day, and wish them a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and endless love.
